Omron presenta el controlador serie NX1 integrado con funciones de control e información
Omron Corporation (sede: Shimogyo-Ku, Kyoto. CEO: Yoshihito Yamada) ha anunciado la salida al mercado internacional de su nuevo controlador de automatización de máquinas serie NX1. Una nueva solución que aumenta la productividad haciendo uso de la información. Omron lanzará la unidad*1 de entrada analógica de alta velocidad NX-HAD4 y la unidad*2 de CPU de seguridad NX-SL5 que podrán usarse con la serie NX1, para facilitar la innovación en el sector de la fabricación con el desarrollo de soluciones de seguridad flexibles y de control de calidad.

Tritium signs deal with IONITY for 100 high-power charging sites across Europe
IONITY has chosen Tritium as its technology partner for the construction of 100 high-power charging sites across Germany, France, UK, Norway and Sweden. The dedicated electric vehicle (EV) charging stations will have an average of up to six user units, each capable of delivering 350 kW of power for fast charging of modern EVs. All equipped with the Combined Charging System (CCS) used by a wide range of vehicle manufactures.

Omron brings real-time EDGE-AI control to the factory floor
On stand B32 at this year’s PPMA show, Omron will showcase a new solution that adds artificial intelligence (AI) functionality to packaging and processing machinery for real-time control that provides an instant reduction in waste and machine downtime. The AI controller is based on a machine learning engine (MLE), which is incorporated into Omron’s Sysmac control platform (on both PLC and IPC) and monitors multiple signals simultaneously to detect potential anomalies (faults) and determine the appropriate response. The whole calculation can be accomplished in under a single machine cycle, minimising any disruption to the operation of the line.
