En mayo de 2011, Trespa International abrirá el nuevo Trespa Design Centre en Barcelona. Este centro, que exhibirá soluciones de diseño creadas por Trespa International y su asociada Arpa Industriale, ofrecerá una experiencia única al visitante. No solamente será un escaparate de conceptos de diseño para exterior e interior, sino también un lugar único e inspirador para reuniones, formación y networking con arquitectos de toda Barcelona, Cataluña, España y Europa.

Clariant further expands operating margin
• Sales up 5% in local currencies on price increases, down 6% in CHF
• EBITDA margin before exceptional items at 16.1% compared to 12.9% in the previous year
• EBIT margin before exceptional items rose to 13.4% from 10.1% in Q1 2010
• Positive cash flow from operations of CHF 17 million
• Net income of CHF 120 million compared to CHF 10 million a year ago
• Süd-Chemie acquisition closed, integration process initiated; consolidation as of 21 April 2011
• 2011 outlook: Clariant expects a stable business environment in 2011, with growth mainly coming from the emerging markets. Based on this scenario and excluding Süd-Chemie, Clariant forecasts local currency sales growth in the low single-digit range and an EBITDA margin before exceptional items above that of 2010.

SABIC Innovative Plastics’ New Anti-Static and Low-Gloss/No-Paint Solutions Add Stylish High Quality to Automotive Interiors
BERGEN OP ZOOM, The Netherlands – May 3, 2011 – SABIC Innovative Plastics launched at the VDI conference two new specialty materials that make creating and maintaining high-quality, attractive automotive interiors much easier. The first new product is a Cycolac* acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene/polycarbonate (ABS/PC) resin for elegant, low-gloss parts that eliminates the costs, wear problems and environmental downsides of secondary painting. The second innovation is a Geloy* polycarbonate/acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (PC/ASA) resin that provides permanent anti-static performance for a fresh, clean appearance of interior parts. IOI Loders Croklaan Europe embraces savings potential of effective insulation at new Rotterdam facility
IOI Loders Croklaan, a leading global producer and supplier of vegetable oils and fats, recently opened its new facilities in the Port of Rotterdam. The new factory which produces enzymatically rearranged food ingredients, represents a significant breakthrough in the oils and fats industry in terms of innovation. It features the latest technologies to recover heat, minimize CO2 emissions, and reduce energy wastage.
