DSM Engineering Plastics ha presentado una gama de materiales muy fluidos y de alta productividad “High Flow & High Productivity” que permiten importantes reducciones de costes de producción en comparación con las resinas estándard. El cliente obtiene un valor añadido con estos materiales via ciclos más cortos y por tanto inferiores costes de producción por pieza, mayor libertad de diseño con la consiguiente disminución de coste de material y/o proceso por pieza y mayor perspectiva de innovación en la substitución del metal. QUADRANT CMS TO DOUBLE HUNGARIAN PRODUCTION BY END OF 2007
TIELT, BELGIUM – July 2007 – Quadrant Creative Moulding & Systems (Quadrant CMS) is about to double the turnover at the Hungarian facility compared to 2006 and has announced plans to further increase the production capacity significantly of its purpose-built injection-moulding facility in Szigetszentmiklos, south of Budapest, by the end of 2007. Production at the plant has increased significantly in recent months, principally as a result of Quadrant CMS’ success in the region. Amongst Quadrant CMS’s expansion plans are the addition of Krauss-Maffei and Engel injection moulding machines, ranging from 25 to 400 tons, and the employment of more workers at the site in line with the additional activity.

Skymark Performance Films Limited (Scunthorpe, U.K.), usa Arnitel® VT de DSM Engineering Plastics, un copolímero elastomero termoplástico (TEE-E) para procesar en film, en sus membranas transpirables SKYAIR® y SKYAIR® XT. Estas membranas ofrecen distintos niveles de velocidad de transmisión de vapor y se pueden laminar para obtener telas. Se usan en deporte, medicina y construcción; son impermeables y cortavientos aún conservando su “transpirabilidad”.
