London 26 September 2003. A unique portable CD player case has been announced today by Path Group PLC, the UK distributor of Case Logic products. The innovative new ‘SDM4’ features a patented exterior headphone socket allowing headphones to be attached or removed without opening the case.

Both former (and present) Distrupol staff took part, along with representatives of a number of leading suppliers with Ivor French taking the top prize.

Univar and ExxonMobil Chemical sign agreement for distribution of PolyAlphaOlephins and other synthetic basestocks in Europe
European lubricant manufacturers now have expanded options for local supply of polyalphaolefins and other synthetic basestocks following the signing of a distribution agreement between ExxonMobil Chemical and Univar. Univar will support ExxonMobil Chemical's Synthetics business in Europe with local supply points in Ireland, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Benelux and Switzerland.

DSM LANZA STANYL® TW241F12 Y AMPLÍA EL CAMPO DE POSIBILIDADES DE SUSTITUCIÓN DE METALES EN ENTORNOS DE ALTA TEMPERATURA.
La gama Stanyl® PA46 de DSM Engineering Plastics es conocida por ofrecer unas prestaciones elevadas similares a las del LCP y el PPS — y a veces incluso a las del PEEK— , pero brindando al mismo tiempo la facilidad de transformación y diseño propia de la PA6, la PA66 o el PBT. Con el lanzamiento de Stanyl® TW241F12, una nueva poliamida 46 (PA46) de altas prestaciones reforzada con fibra de vidrio al 60%, Stanyl® ofrece ahora la más alta rigidez a temperaturas elevadas que se puede encontrar en el campo de los termoplásticos semicristalinos reforzados con fibra de vidrio y amplía así las posibilidades de sustitución de metales. Además de rigidez, Stanyl® TW241F12 aporta altos niveles de resistencia a la plastodeformación y a la fatiga, con menos masa que los materiales competidores.
