El nuevo grado de polipropileno Borclear de Boreales, que fue presentado en junio en la prestigiosa feria NPE de Chicago en colaboración con Kiefel Extrusion GMBH, supera las limitaciones convencionales del PP en película soplada. Borclear RB707CF aporta unas propiedades ópticas de primera calidad además de una buena procesabilidad y un excelente balance rigidez/tenacidad, y está pensado como capa de sellado para la coextrusión.

Keep an eye on the acid value
Precise gloss control of powder coatings is a major issue, especially since TGIC-free formulations have made this task more difficult. However, detailed structure-property analyses of blends of polyester-ß-hydroxyalkylamide systems bsed on different, incompatible resins reveal, that the difference in acid value between the two resins in the blends can serve as a very reliable gloss determinating property.
