On January 21st 2002, Victrex plc. launched its new-look multi-lingual website at www.victrex.com. The website has been designed to support Victrex and PEEK™ polymer operations globally, with focused regional content in local languages. In addition to improving the site layout, Victrex has focused on making it as easy as possible for customers to access information and technical support for its range of PEEK™ polymers.

Owens Corning Breaks Ground For Automotive Solutions Center
TOLEDO, Ohio, Jan. 8, 2002 – Owens Corning announced today that its Automotive Business will be based in Novi, Michigan, in order to be closer to its Detroit-based customers. A new 57,000-sq.-ft. (5,300 m2) Business Solutions Center will open in the second quarter. Located at Beck West Corporate Park, 46500 Humboldt Drive, the center will be easily accessible to the automakers and auto suppliers in metro Detroit.

Omnexus anuncia dos nuevos nombramientos de nivel ejecutivo
Atlanta - Omnexus ha anunciado dos nombramientos ejecutivos destinados a favorecer la consolidación de su mercado electrónico del plástico a partir del 2002. Su director de Operaciones actual, Michael Walsh, ha asumido el puesto de consejero delegado provisional tras participar en la dirección de las operaciones del día a día de la compañía desde agosto del 2000, y el Dr. Reinhard Katz, miembro del consejo de Omnexus, ha sido ascendido al puesto de presidente del Consejo de Dirección de la compañía.
