Omron lancia il controller della serie NX1, in grado di integrare funzionalità di controllo e di gestione delle informazioni
Omron Corporation (sede centrale: Shimogyo-Ku, Kyoto. CEO: Yoshihito Yamada) ha annunciato il lancio globale, ad aprile, della serie NX1 di machine controller, in grado di ottimizzare la produttività attingendo alle informazioni. Omron lancerà il modulo di ingresso analogico ad alta velocità NX-HAD4*1 e il modulo CPU di sicurezza NX-SL5*2, che possono essere usati con il controller della serie NX1 per affrontare le sfide associate alle innovazioni in ambito produttivo, ad esempio il miglioramento del controllo qualità e l'implementazione di misure di sicurezza flessibili.

Tritium signs deal with IONITY for 100 high-power charging sites across Europe
IONITY has chosen Tritium as its technology partner for the construction of 100 high-power charging sites across Germany, France, UK, Norway and Sweden. The dedicated electric vehicle (EV) charging stations will have an average of up to six user units, each capable of delivering 350 kW of power for fast charging of modern EVs. All equipped with the Combined Charging System (CCS) used by a wide range of vehicle manufactures.

Omron brings real-time EDGE-AI control to the factory floor
On stand B32 at this year’s PPMA show, Omron will showcase a new solution that adds artificial intelligence (AI) functionality to packaging and processing machinery for real-time control that provides an instant reduction in waste and machine downtime. The AI controller is based on a machine learning engine (MLE), which is incorporated into Omron’s Sysmac control platform (on both PLC and IPC) and monitors multiple signals simultaneously to detect potential anomalies (faults) and determine the appropriate response. The whole calculation can be accomplished in under a single machine cycle, minimising any disruption to the operation of the line.

Beaulieu International Group (B.I.G.) announces the acquisition of two privately-owned companies, Beaulieu Canada and Beaulieu Australia, which will be integrated into its Flooring Solutions business unit. The transactions closed end of June.
