Clariant präsentiert auf der K 2025, die weltweit führende Fachmesse für Kunststoff und Kautschuk, seine neuen AddWorks titanbasierten Katalysatorlösungen für die Polyesterpolymerisation.
Die für 2026 geplante Markteinführung dieser Technologie bietet eine nachhaltigere und leistungsstärkere Alternative zu herkömmlichen antimonbasierten Katalysatoren. Sie adressiert sowohl Umweltbedenken als auch Lieferkettenherausforderungen und vereinfacht das PET-Recycling, um die Kreislaufwirtschaft in der Polyesterindustrie zu unterstützen. Während der anfängliche Fokus aufgrund des großen globalen Marktes auf PET liegt, sind Clariants titanbasierte Katalysatorlösungen für die gesamte Polyesterfamilie konzipiert, einschließlich PETG, PCT, PBT, PTT, PBAT, TPEE und sogar neuartiger Polyester wie PEF, indem sie als hocheffektiver Umesterungs-/Polykondensationskatalysator wirken.
