Syensqo’s Kallo-Beveren production facility in Belgium has successfully achieved carbon neutrality by running exclusively on renewable energy. The facility produces Syensqo’s Ryton® polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) specialty polymer compounds.

SABIC, ein weltweit führendes Unternehmen der chemischen Industrie, hat heute seine Zusammenarbeit mit Cybershield, Inc. bekanntgegeben, einem Hersteller metallisierter Kunststoffbauteile in den USA. Ziel der Kooperation ist es, den Einsatz galvanisierter Anwendungen aus ULTEM™ Kunststoffen in der Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie voranzutreiben. Im Rahmen dieser, während der kommenden NPE2024 und der Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) 2024 thematisierten Vereinbarung, hat das SABIC Team seine umfassende Kompetenz im Spritzgießen von ULTEM Hochtemperaturkunststoffen eingebracht. So erhielt Cybershield eine Schulung zum optimierten Spritzgießen von Endgehäusen aus ULTEM 2310 für elektrische Steckverbinder, die sich besonders für Anschlüsse von audiovisuellen (AV) Steuermodulen in kommerziellen Flugzeugen eignen.

Syensqo accelerates clean energy transition with largest electric vehicle battery materials facility in North America
Today, Syensqo broke ground on its future battery-grade polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) facility in Augusta, Georgia. They were joined by Tom Perez, Senior Advisor and Assistant to the President and Director of the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, and by Giulia Siccardo, Director of the Department of Energy’s Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains, as well as other representatives.
