Beiersdorf wählt zertifiziertes erneuerbares Polypropylen von SABIC für neue NIVEA Verpackung
SABIC, ein weltweit führendes Unternehmen der chemischen Industrie, hat heute bekanntgegeben, dass Beiersdorf die Verpackung seiner Gesichtspflegeprodukte der Reihe NIVEA NATURAL BALANCE mit einem zertifizierten erneuerbaren Polymer innovieren wird. Zur Produktion der Tiegel für die NIVEA Tages- und Nachtcremes von Beiersdorf wird künftig ein biobasiertes Polypropylen (PP) aus dem TRUCIRCLE™ Portfolio von SABIC eingesetzt. Die neue NIVEA Verpackung wird weltweit ab Juni 2021 im Handel eingeführt und einen erheblichen Beitrag zur Reduzierung des Verbrauchs fossil basierter Kunststoffe bei Beiersdorf leisten.

Moog erweitert seine Produktfamilie der elektrohydrostatischen Antriebssysteme mit dem Compact EAS
Das Moog Industrial Systems Segment, ein Geschäftsbereich der Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A und MOG.B), erweitert die bereits Ende letzten Jahres auf den Markt gebrachte Familie der Elektrohydrostatischen Antriebssysteme (EAS) für Industriemaschinen. Das jüngste Modell ist das Compact EAS, das sich hervorragend für Anwendungen eignet, die sich durch hohe Dynamik und Leistungsdichte auszeichnen, programmierbare Bewegungsabläufe benötigen und hohe Anforderungen an Genauigkeit und Wiederholgenauigkeit stellen. Typische Anwendungen für das neue Antriebssystem sind u. a. Stanzmaschinen für Automobilkomponenten, in der Metallbearbeitung Prozesse wie Pressen, Schneiden, Umformen und Biegen. Aber auch beim Pressen, Stanzen und Schneiden von anderen Materialien wie Glas, Keramik, Kunststoffen und Leder profitieren Maschinen von der hohen Leistungsfähigkeit der Compact EAS.

Neue ELCRES™ HTV150 dielektrische Folie von SABIC hält 150°C stand und verbessert die Wirtschaftlickeit von Umrichterbaugruppen für Elektrofahrzeuge
SABIC, ein weltweit führendes Unternehmen der chemischen Industrie, hat heute seine neue 5 µm dünne ELCRES™ HTV150 dielektrische Folie für industrielle Kondensatoren in Hochtemperatur- und Hochspannungsanwendungen eingeführt. Potenzielle Einsatzbereiche sind Antriebsumrichter für Hybrid-, Plug-in-Hybrid- und batteriebetriebene Elektrofahrzeuge (xEV). Mit ihrer hohen Wärmebeständigkeit von bis zu 150°C übertrifft diese Folie die Temperatur- und Spannungsfestigkeit bestehender Produkte im Markt. Die ELCRES HTV150 Folie kann dazu beitragen, den Übergang von herkömmlichen Halbleitern auf der Basis von Silizium (Si) hin zu Technologien mit Siliziumcarbid (SiC) und breiten Bandabständen zu erleichtern, um die Wirtschaftlichkeit von Inverterbaugruppen zu erleichtern.
