TE Connectivity (TE), ein weltweit führender Anbieter von Verbindungstechnologie- und Sensorlösungen, hat zwei neue MiMo-Antennen für Anwendungen in öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln vorgestellt. Beide Antennen bieten modernste Verbindungstechnik, um die hohe Internetverfügbarkeit zu gewährleisten, welche Passagiere auf Reisen erwarten. Bei einer der Antennen handelt es sich um eine flache Plug-and-play-WLAN-Antenne für den Innenbereich, die fast überall in einem Fahrzeug montiert werden kann. Die andere ist eine robuste Multi-Service-Antenne für den Außenbereich, welche Funktionen für mobile Konnektivität, globale Positionsbestimmung und WLAN kombiniert. Die integrierte MiMo-Technologie (Multiple In Multiple Out) sorgt für stabilere Verbindungen, indem Datenströme geteilt- (Mehrwegeausbreitung) und bis zu vier Antennen für die Signalübertragung verwendet werden.
