Muttenz, 14. September 2016 – Clariant, ein weltweit führendes Spezialchemieunternehmen, hat heute zwei Akquisitionen im Geschäft mit Ölfeldchemikalien bekannt gegeben. Nach Abschluss der Transaktionen werden die Zukäufe von Kel-Tech Inc. und X-Chem LLC etwa 200 Millionen US-Dollar zusätzlichen Umsatz generieren und bereichern die laufenden Aktivitäten in Nordamerika puncto Personal, Technologien und Expertise. Darüber hinaus wird das Wachstum der Geschäftseinheit Oil &Mining Services (OMS) als führende Anbieterin von Ölfeldchemikalien in Nordamerika beschleunigt.
