TYCAN® Gliederketten aus Dyneema® Faser substituieren Stahlketten zum Schwerlastzurren
Niederlande, 6. Januar 2015 - Erstmals werden industrielle Ketten zum Zurren schwerer Ladungen aus der unter dem Markennamen Dyneema® von DSM vertriebenen Polyethylenfaser mit ultrahoher Molmasse (UHMwPE) hergestellt. DSM Dyneema ist dazu mit der in Bergen (Norwegen) ansässigen Firma Load Solutions AS eine strategische Partnerschaft für Entwicklung, Fertigung, Verkauf und Vermarktung der mit Dyneema® Faser produzierten Gliederketten eingegangen. Die Zurrketten mit dem Markennamen TYCAN® werden aus Gurtbändern gefertigt und bieten gegenüber den traditionellen, seit Jahrhunderten verwendeten Eisen- oder Stahlketten mehrere wirtschaftliche, umweltfreundliche und sicherheitstechnische Vorteile.

DSM highlights solutions for flexible food packaging, gas tank applications, and DDR4 connectors at NPE

Clariant divests its Water Treatment Business in Latin America to Ecolab
São Paulo, December 18, 2014 – Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, has signed an agreement to divest its Water Treatment business operating in Argentina, Brazil and Colombia to Ecolab Inc. The transaction is subject to certain conditions precedent, as well as regulatory approvals.
