DSM showcases latest automotive and mobile phone applications for its engineering plastics at PlastIndia 2015

AVERY DENNISON BAUT KAPAZITÄT FÜR FOLIENBESCHICHTUNG UND LAMINIERUNG IN EUROPA DURCH ERWEITERUNG DES WERKS IN GOTHA AUS
LEIDEN, Niederlande — 4. Dezember 2014 — Avery Dennison, einer der Weltmarktführer für die Herstellung von Etiketten- und Verpackungsmaterialien, hat seine Beschichtungs- und Laminierungsanlagen für Haftetiketten und Verpackungsfolien im eigenen Werk in Gotha erweitert. Für diese Kapazitätserweiterung investierte Avery Dennison sieben Millionen Euro. Das Unternehmen reagiert damit auf die steigende Nachfrage nach Folienprodukten mit extrem hoher Klarheit und Reinheit. Durch die Erweiterung verfügt das Werk in Gotha nun über eine Silikon-Klebstoff-Doppelbeschichtungslinie, einen zusätzlichen Schneidebereich sowie eine neue Versandhalle. Damit erhöht sich die Topcoat-Beschichtungskapazität um 50 Mio. m² und vergrößert sich die Betriebsfläche um 33 %. Auf diese Weise kann Avery Dennison den erwarteten kurzfristigen Anstieg auffangen und auch längerfristig wachsen.
