QUADRANT ENGINEERING PLASTIC PRODUCTS PRÄSENTIERT NEUE MATERIALGENERATION FÜR DIE HALBLEITERFERTIGUNG UND FÜR PRÜFANWENDUNGEN
K 2004 – Quadrant Engineering Plastic Products (QEPP) hat vier neue Produkte entwickelt, die zur Steigerung der Lebensdauer und Zuverlässigkeit von Anwendungen in der chemisch-mechanischen Planarisierung (CMP) sowie in Prüf- und Handhabungskomponenten beitragen. Ausserdem stellt das Unternehmen die Vorserie eines neuen hochreinen Kunststoffs im begrenzten Umfang für Gemeinschaftsentwicklungsprojekte zur Verfügung. Die Serienproduktion des neuen Kunststoffs ist für Mitte 2005 geplant.

Avebe signs agreement with Fiske Food Ingredients for starch products distribution in Denmark
Fiske Food Denmark, a Univar company and leading specialist distributor of food and beverage ingredients, is now distributing starches for the food industry produced by the Dutch farming co-operative Avebe. The move follows the recent signing of a distribution agreement for Denmark between the two companies.

HONEYWELL TO BUILD REFRIGERANT MANUFACTURING PLANT IN CHINA
MORRIS TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- Honeywell (NYSE: HON) announced today plans to build a manufacturing plant for non-ozone depleting refrigerant products in Qingpu, Shanghai, China. The new facility, expected to be operational in November 2004, was announced during a groundbreaking ceremony in Qingpu attended by Honeywell officials, key customers and Chinese dignitaries.
