Honeywell announced that construction on its HFC-245fa manufacturing facility is on schedule for start-up July 1, 2002. On April 5, 2001 the company marked the groundbreaking of the facility with a customer-focused event.

In a single audit operation by Det Norske Veritas (DNV), three Rhodia Engineering Plastics’ sites, in Saint-Fons, France, Ceriano Laghetto, Italy, and Gorzow, Poland, received the ISO/TS 16949 certification for the development, production and sales of TECHNYL® and TECHNYL-STAR™ polyamides. This certification has confirmed Rhodia Engineering Plastics’ commitment to the automotive industry, providing Rhodia’s automotive customers with the quality assurance specific to their demands.
