Ziel der Kooperation ist es, den Einsatz galvanisierter Anwendungen aus ULTEM™ Kunststoffen in der Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie voranzutreiben. Im Rahmen dieser, während der kommenden NPE2024 und der Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) 2024 thematisierten Vereinbarung, hat das SABIC Team seine umfassende Kompetenz im Spritzgießen von ULTEM Hochtemperaturkunststoffen eingebracht. So erhielt Cybershield eine Schulung zum optimierten Spritzgießen von Endgehäusen aus ULTEM 2310 für elektrische Steckverbinder, die sich besonders für Anschlüsse von audiovisuellen (AV) Steuermodulen in kommerziellen Flugzeugen eignen.
