Solvay partners with BETA Technologies for Advanced Air Mobility Platform
Solvay has been appointed as primary composite material supplier to BETA Technologies, an electric aviation company based out of Vermont, with an office in Montréal, Canada. Solvay will provide BETA with qualification support and advanced materials for the production of their ALIA CTOL, electric fixed-wing aircraft, and ALIA VTOL, electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, developed for a variety of applications, including medical, cargo and passenger transportation.

Solvay, un leader mondial du marché des matériaux spéciaux, a introduit Diofan® Ultra736, une nouvelle solution d’enduction en polychlorure de vinylidène (PVDC) avec barrière à vapeur d’eau hautement efficace permettant de réduire l’empreinte carbone des films blister pharmaceutiques. En tant que dispersion aqueuse, Diofan® Ultra736 ne contient pas de fluor, répond aux exigences réglementaires en matière de contact pharmaceutique direct et permet de concevoir des films durables avec des conceptions d’enduction plus fines.
