DOMO Chemicals firma un acuerdo para adquirir el negocio de poliamidas de alto rendimiento de Solvay en Europa
DOMO Chemicals y Solvay han firmado hoy un acuerdo para que DOMO adquiera el negocio de poliamidas de alto rendimiento de Solvay en Europa. El acuerdo incluye las operaciones de plásticos de ingeniería en Francia y Polonia; el negocio de fibras de alto rendimiento en Francia; las operaciones de polímeros y productos intermedios en Francia, España y Polonia. También supone una joint venture entre BASF y DOMO en Francia para la producción de ácido adípico. El negocio incluye servicios de producción, venta, soporte técnico, I+D e innovación que actualmente cuentan con, aproximadamente, 1100 empleados. La adquisición, que está sujeta a la aprobación por parte de las autoridades de competencia competentes, se espera que se cierre a finales del cuarto trimestre de 2019. El precio de compra que pagará DOMO en efectivo y libre de deudas ascenderá a mas de 300 millones de euros.
