Clariant to grow in Australia with new masterbatches plant
Muttenz, August 12, 2014 - Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, announces plans to build its newest masterbatches plant in greater Sydney Area, Australia. The new plant will mainly serve the Australian market with a full range of color and additive masterbatches, technically innovative solutions and services to meet the growing local needs. Construction on the plant is currently underway, with plans of commissioning in the fourth quarter 2014.

TE Connectivity unterzeichnet Vereinbarung über den Erwerb des chinesischen Steckverbinder-Spezialisten Delixing/Sibas
SCHAFFHAUSEN, Schweiz – 11. August 2014 – TE Connectivity Ltd. (NYSE: TEL), ein weltweit führender Anbieter von Verbindungstechnologie, hat eine Vereinbarung über den Erwerb der Xiamen Delixing Electric Equipment Co., Ltd. (Delixing) und Xiamen SIBAS Connectors Co., Ltd. (Sibas) unterzeichnet. Das 1998 gegründete und privatwirtschaftlich geführte Unternehmen mit Sitz in Xiamen (Stadt im Süden der Provinz Fujian) entwickelt und produziert robuste Steckverbinder für Anwendungen im Maschinenbau, in der Fabrikautomation, in der Stromversorgung sowie im Schienenverkehr. Der Umsatz betrug 2013 rund 10 Millionen US-Dollar. Mit den Produkten von Delixing/Sibas erweitert TE sein Lösungsangebot für die Verbindungstechnologie in rauen Umgebungen. Der Erwerb wird voraussichtlich 2015 abgeschlossen sein. Danach wird das Unternehmen in den Bereich Industrial Solutions integriert.
