Clariant intends to acquire Indian masterbatch producer
Muttenz, December 16, 2013 - Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, today announced the intention to acquire Plastichemix Industries, a masterbatch business in India, located in Vadodara with production facilities in Rania, Kalol and Nandesari in Gujarat (India). ARCHROMA OPENS FORERUNNING WATER TREATMENT FACILITY IN JAMSHORO, PAKISTAN
Reinach, 13 December 2013 - Archroma, a global leader in specialty chemicals, today announced that it opened its first sustainable effluent treatment (SET) facility for a textile operational site in Jamshoro, Pakistan. With an investment of 371 million PKR, the facility not only supports the substantial recovery of 80 percent of water but also allows effluent treatment based on zero liquid discharge, fulfilling Pakistan’s very stringent National Environmental Quality Standards (NEQS) requirements.

SHANGHAI - December 11, 2013 - GE's Power Conversion business (NYSE: GE) has again demonstrated its strength in this sector by winning a contract for the supply of dynamic positioning (DP) for a vessel Floating Accommodation Unit that Cosco (Nantong) Shipyard in Nantong City, China, is building for Logitel Offshore, the Singapore-based floating logistics and accommodation rig owner that has an exclusive license agreement to use the proprietary Sevan Marine design within the floating accommodation market. The complete project includes a C-Series Class 3 DP system and manual thruster control system.
