GE's Power Conversion Business Strengthens Position in Latin America with the Acquisition of the Chilean Company IDT
SANTIAGO, CHILE - November 11, 2013 - GE's Power Conversion business (NYSE: GE) today announced that it has finalized the acquisition of the Chilean power electronics company Ingeniería y Desarrollo Tecnológico S.A. (IDT). With this move, Power Conversion is actively positioning the company to build a stronger regional presence and capture a greater share of the mining segment.
