Songwon acquires Additives Technology Greiz and takes a leadership position in the delivery of One Pack Systems

(Photo: Songwon Industrial Co., Ltd.)Ulsan, Korea – December 13, 2011 – Today, at the Annual GPCA forum 2011 in Dubai (UAE), Songwon Industrial Group has announced it has acquired Additives Technology Greiz (ATG), one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of One Pack Systems (OPS) products for the polymer industry. ATG’s manufacturing plant is located in Greiz (Germany) and has produced dust free polymer additive packages since 2006. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Für diesen Preis, mit dem das Unternehmen herausragendes ehrenamtliches Engagement auszeichnet, wurden aus einem großen Pool von Bewerbern dieses Mal zehn der weltweit über 6.600 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter nominiert. Unter den insgesamt sechs Preisträgern ist auch Produktmanager Rolf-Dieter Sommer, der 1995 zu den Mitbegründern des Förderkreises Pro Mukoviszidose Stuttgart e.V. gehörte und seitdem dort durchschnittlich zehn Stunden im Monat unentgeltlich tätig ist. Davon profitiert der Förderkreis jetzt gleich doppelt. Denn er erhält von Belden 5.000 Euro, mit denen der Community Volunteer Award dotiert ist. Darüber hinaus ist Sommers Kollege Edgar Blum für seine ehrenamtliche Tätigkeit mit einer ehrenhaften Erwähnung ausgezeichnet worden.
