SABIC and AmeriLux International co-create new Lexapanel* sheet standing seam solution for beautiful, translucent, eco-conscious glazing
BERGEN OP ZOOM, The Netherlands – November 22, 2011 – SABIC’s Innovative Plastics business today announced its new patent-pending Lexapanel* polycarbonate (PC) sheet standing seam technology to give architects and builders exceptional flexibility to create sustainable and beautiful translucent roofing and other glazing elements. Lexapanel sheet was developed in collaboration with AmeriLux International, LLC, an authorized North American distributor of SABIC’s Lexan* Thermoclear* and Thermoclick* sheet products. Compared with other standing seam solutions, the new offering provides customers in North America and Europe with far more glazing options, including choice of width, thickness, coating, color, structure and type of connection. Further, Lexapanel sheet delivers the strength, weatherability, clarity and thermal insulation of SABIC’s renowned Lexan PC multiwall sheet. This joint, high-performance solution demonstrates SABIC’s commitment in developing sustainable solutions that promote energy conservation while providing customer focused day-lighting solutions to improve working and living environments.

Op 16 December 2011 neemt Belden EMEA haar nieuw Logistiek Centrum in Venlo officieel in gebruik. Het Belden Logistiek Centrum, dat dan in totaal 6.000m2 beslaat, gaat vanaf de nieuwe locatie verder met het zorgdragen voor het wereldwijd verzenden van de vervaardigde Belden kabelproducten. Deze zullen geproduceerd worden in Venlo, als mede in andere delen van de wereld.
