Sittard, the Netherlands – 27 September 2011 – SABIC has appointed Country Leaders across Europe to ensure that customers take full advantage of SABIC’s global assets and local expertise and establish a closer cooperation between SABIC’s business and sales operations in polyolefins (Polymers business), engineering thermoplastics (Innovative Plastics business), and chemicals. SABIC si unisce a INPRO, joint venture improntata all'innovazione nel settore automobilistico
BERLINO, Germania – 7 settembre 2011 – Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) ha annunciato oggi a Berlino di aver concordato l'acquisto di un pacchetto azionario di INPRO, una joint venture che si dedica all'innovazione collaborativa per la produzione automobilistica. SABIC si unirà a Daimler, Siemens, ThyssenKrupp e Volkswagen, i titolari dei pacchetti azionari del gruppo. Anche lo stato federale di Berlino detiene delle azioni di INPRO sin dalla sua fondazione, avvenuta nel 1983. SABIC si unisce alla joint venture forte di 45 anni di esperienza come principale pioniere nei settori dello sviluppo applicativo e delle tecnologie per i materiali plastici legati all'ingegneria automobilistica, principalmente attraverso la divisione automobilistica dedicata di Innovative Plastics, e parteciperà attivamente ai progetti di innovazione congiunta di INPRO.
