Am Belden-Standort Neckartenzlingen starten zwölf Jugendliche ins Berufsleben bei Hirschmann
Anfang September 2011 haben gleich zwölf Jugendliche am Belden-Standort Neckartenzlingen, wo die Produkte der Marke Hirschmann™ entwickelt und produziert werden, eine Berufsausbildung begonnen. Neun von ihnen werden in den Lehrberufen Elektroniker für Geräte und Systeme, Mechatroniker, Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration und Verfahrensmechaniker ausgebildet. Drei junge Leute absolvieren an der Dualen Hochschule Baden-Württemberg in Stuttgart die Studiengänge Angewandte Informatik und Betriebswirtschaftslehre.

Clariant enables Oslo Airport to recycle two-thirds of aircraft de-icer
Muttenz, 13 September 2011 – A new Clariant recycling plant for aircraft de-icer is being inaugurated today at Norway’s Oslo International Airport. In the coming 2011-12 winter, it is expected that the unit will reprocess 60-70% of the aircraft de-icer fluid (ADF) used in Oslo. The recycled product – mono propylene glycol (MPG) – will substitute an estimated 700 metric tonnes per year of virgin material in de-icing and heat transfer applications.

Ulsan, Corea – 13 settembre 2011 – Songwon Industrial Group annuncia che l’espansione della sua capacità di antiossidanti da 55.000 a 70.000 tonnellate è stata completata in anticipo rispetto alla tabella di marcia. Questo resultato è stato reso possibile la consolidamento della produzione di Songnox® 1076 nel nuovo impianto pienamente integrato a monte di Maeam. Inoltre, Songwon ha annunciato, come frutto di questa espansione produttiva, l’introduzione di due forme fisiche migliorate di Songnox® 1076: Songnox® 1076 SB (in granuli - semi beads) e Songnox® 1076 CP (polvere cristallina).

BERGEN OP ZOOM, Paesi Bassi – 8 settembre 2011 – I nuovi pannelli fotovoltaici ombreggianti, realizzati con le resistenti e leggere lastre in policarbonato (PC) Lexan* Exell* D dell'unità operativa strategica di SABIC, Innovative Plastics, stanno contribuendo significativamente ad aumentare l'efficienza e il comfort energetici della nuova sede del City of Westminster College nel centro di Londra.
