CHEMTURA NAMES DR. ROBERT WEDINGER CHIEF BUSINESS OFFICER
Chemtura Corporation(NYSE:CEM) has appointed Robert S. Wedinger, PhD as chief business officer, reporting directly to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Robert Wood. Dr. Wedinger is now responsible for Chemtura's commercial organization and its four businesses: Polymer Additives, Performance Specialties, Crop and Consumer Products. Dr. Wedinger, who was serving as group president of Performance Specialties, will retain his Performance Specialties role in addition to his new responsibilities. He joined Chemtura in 2006 as vice president and general manager of Process Chemicals and Polymers.

Solutia® Announces Vydyne® and Ascend® Price Increase in Asia
ST. LOUIS – December 14, 2007 -- Solutia Inc. (OTCBB: SOLUQ) has announced a price increase of $150 per metric ton across its Ascend® and Vydyne® polyamide 66 resins in the Asia Pacific market. This increase applies to orders shipped on or after December 15, 2007, and will be applied across the Ascend and Vydyne product families. Sustained increases in both energy and raw materials costs, along with strong global demand, have made this price increase imperative.

Car Design News Contest 2008 is World’s First International Digital Car Design Competition
LONDON – Dec. 13, 2007 – Car Design News today announced the largest all-digital car design contest in the world, in association with SABIC Innovative Plastics and powered by Autodesk. Car Design News Contest 2008 will be judged by senior auto design directors from major automotive manufacturers, including Martin Smith, executive vice president of design at Ford Europe, Asia Pacific and Africa, and Shiro Nakamura, senior vice president and head of design at Nissan. This contest is unique as all designs will be created as virtual computer models.
