Borealis and Ashland Distribution celebrate 10 years of partnership in Europe
Borealis and Ashland Distribution are celebrating the success of their 10 years partnership in dealing with distribution customers of Borealis-produced polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) in Europe. This first pan-European polyolefin distribution partnership has allowed Borealis to increase its responsiveness towards smaller and mid-size customers by ensuring quick delivery from a single local source.

Distrupol, ENGEL and STV make multi-component moulding easy
Distrupol, ENGEL and STV will unravel the complexities of multi-component injection moulding at the forthcoming ENGEL Moulders’ Group Technology Event, Wednesday 15th November 2006 in Warwick, UK.
This free-of-charge morning seminar, to be repeated in the afternoon, will feature presentations and practical demonstrations to help the moulders to get to grips with multi-component moulding. There will be particular focus on the use of the Babyplast bolt-on injection unit as a low cost, flexible alternative for achieving 2K injection moulding on standard and existing machinery.

The new Dyneema® SB61 offers ultra-high energy absorption to provide significantly increased stopping power, as well as the same high level of trauma reduction and aging behavior as other Dyneema® soft ballistic products. The announcement was made at the 2006 International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) conference in Boston.
