背景 在1998年4月，阿布扎比國家石油公司(ADNOC)以及丹麥的北歐化工公司(Borealis)共同組建了名為阿布扎比聚合物有限公司（博祿）的合資公司，在位於阿聯酋阿布扎比的魯韋斯建設、維護和運作一個乙烯/聚乙烯石化工廠。第二個合資企業--博祿私人有限公司（被稱為博祿市場公司）也在新加坡組建，在中東以及亞太地區推廣和銷售博祿的產品。

Borealis has launched two new Borecene Compact™ PE grades to meet rotomoulders’ needs for polyethylene (PE) resins that provide enhanced flow properties, as well as improved economics and handling. The new grades, which use Borealis unique patented technology eliminating pellet grinding, offer significant advantages for technical products used in high performance applications such as parts for the automotive industry with intricate shapes.
