GREAT LAKES TO FORM JOINT VENTURE WITH TEIJIN CHEMICALS FOR BROMINATED CARBONATE OLIGOMER FLAME RETARDANTS
DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY – Great Lakes Chemical Corporation (NYSE:GLK) and Teijin Chemicals LTD announced today they intend to combine their global brominated carbonate oligomer (BCO) activities as part of a joint venture to market flame retardants for various engineering polymers and blends, including polybutylene terephalate (PBT) and polycarbonate (PC) resins for use in electronic component applications.

Es handelt sich um ein UV-Stabilisatorsystem auf Nickelbasis in staubfreier Granulatform, das den Schmelzpunkt auf normale Verarbeitungstemperaturen absenkt und Probleme der Dispergierung bei der Herstellung von Folien für die Landwirtschaft beseitigt.
