Honeywell Enovate® 3000 blowing agent to be used by UK-Roofing and Cladding Manufacturer Steadman

HoneywellHaasrode, Belgium, September 2nd , 2004 — Honeywell´s Enovate® 3000 blowing agent, a liquid hydrofluorocarbon used as a blowing agent for rigid insulating foams is now used by Steadman & Son Ltd. to manufacture foam insulation panels. Steadman, one of the longest established manufacturers of roofing and cladding systems in the UK, decided in favor of Enovate® 3000 because it fulfils the Montreal Protocol by not harming the ozone layer. In addition, the product is not flammable. This quality means that Enovate® easily meets the fire-resistant standards set by the U.K.’s Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), a recognized independent quality certification board. Enovate® 3000 also provides superior insulation panel performance in comparison to competing products.
