GE PLASTICS ARRICCHISCE IL PORTAFOGLIO DI MATERIALI VISUALfx™ CON NUOVI EFFETTI IN BIANCO E NERO

Substantial order from China: 165 Cincinnati extruders
Cincinnati Extrusion GmbH, Vienna, Austria, has just received the largest order in its history. Dalian Shide Plastic Industry Co., which has already been a customer of the Austrian machine manufacturer for a number of years, has now ordered 165 new extruders. Dalian Shide plans to extend its production capacity to more than one million tons, and thus to become the world’s number one manufacturer of plastics profiles.

Karel Gerritsen has been appointed to the European Management Team of Univar. Before joining Univar in January 2003 as IT Manager for Europe, Gerritsen held a number of IT management positions with the Unilever Group, most recently as International IT manager for Bestfoods Europe.

Rhodia Engineering Plastics receives Business-of-the-Year Award from Michigan Chapter of French-American Chamber of Commerce
Farmington Hills, Michigan, Oct. 1, 2003 – Rhodia Engineering Plastics was named as a 2003 co-recipient, along with Daimler-Chrysler Corporation, of the Business of the Year Award, presented annually since 1996 by the Michigan Chapter of the French-American Chamber of Commerce. Rhodia Engineering Plastics President Jean-Claude Steinmetz accepted the award in a ceremony held this evening at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, in Dearborn, Michigan.
