Guardian Glass investe em projecto de engenharia na Polónia para nova fábrica de vidro float
Bertrange, Luxemburgo, 8 de Março 2017 – A Guardian Glass vai investir $1.5 milhões de euros em projectos de engenharia e estudos de terrenos para a construção de uma segunda fábrica de vidro float na Polónia. Actualmente, a Guardian Glass tem já uma fábrica de produção de vidro float em Czestochowa, na Polónia, e espera aumentar a capacidade de produção com as novas instalações. O objectivo é ir ao encontro do aumento das necessidades dos seus clientes, quer em vidro revestido, quer noutros tipos de produtos de vidro no sector comercial e residencial. Este investimento inicial nos projectos de engenharia vai acelerar a conclusão das novas instalações fabris que se prevê estejam operacionais no primeiro trimestre de 2019. Está ainda a ser estudada a sua localização.

Perstorp sells its Belgian site with its coating additives activities to Synthomer plc
Perstorp March 6, 2017 - The specialty chemicals innovator and supplier Perstorp (Perstorp Holding AB) today announces the sale of its additives activities primarily serving the paints and coatings industry produced at its facility at Gent Belgium, Perstorp Belgium (Perstorp Oxo Belgium AB) to Synthomer (Synthomer plc). The total consideration for the sale is €78 million (subject to certain adjustments). The divestment is in line with Perstorp’s strategy to focus on and expand its core chemicals activities.
