TE Connectivity and Students of Fontys University Eindhoven Complete Study for New Opportunities in 3D Printing
‘S-HERTOGENBOSCH, The Netherlands – June 27, 2016 – TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, together with students of Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven, has completed a study into new opportunities around design for 3D printing. The students were given an assignment to show how three different designs for 3D printing an industrial connector can improve ease of assembly, customization, and weight reduction.

Clariant adquire controle integral do consórcio com Carboflex no Brasil para expandir o atendimento ao mercado offshore

A unidade, localizada no Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, produz químicos usados em poços para exploração e produção de petróleo e gás. A aquisição é parte da estratégia de investimentos da Unidade de Negócios Oil & Mining Services da Clariant e permite à empresa assumir o controle total da planta para expandir sua oferta de produtos químicos para os clientes offshore, otimizando prazos de entrega.

Henkel launches range of new TEROSON LASD products offering enhanced application and sustainability benefits
Henkel Adhesive Technologies has expanded its portfolio of liquid-applied sound deadeners (LASD) for the automobile industry. Newly added to the portfolio are TEROSON LASD grades based on renewable oils (renewable thermosets) for use in the paint shop and body shop department. Also new is a water-based acrylic system offering excellent interaction between the polymers employed and the special fillers introduced to achieve maximum vibration damping combined with controlled, minimized abrasiveness. In a joint project with the BMW Group and ABB, the waterborne technology and the associated application technique have been specifically developed for future use worldwide in the new BMW 3 series.
