As resinas de última geração Noryl GTX* “preenchem lacunas” existentes no segmento de grandes painéis termoplásticos de carrocerias automotivas
BERGEN OP ZOOM, Holanda – 25 de junho de 2008 – À medida que os preços do aço sobem, a família de resinas Noryl GTX* da SABIC Innovative Plastics vai crescendo mundialmente e “preenchendo lacunas” existentes no segmento de grandes peças automotivas com o lançamento de sua resina condutiva de última geração Noryl* GTX (PPO/poliamida). Grandes painéis de carroceria feitos em plástico podem se expandir sob condições de calor e, em última análise, causar um alinhamento deficiente. A nova resina Noryl GTX da SABIC oferece um coeficiente de expansão térmica (CTE) 25% mais baixo que os grades anteriores, o que permite um gerenciamento e controle com alta precisão do espaçamento entre os painéis de carroceria automotiva, além de ajudar a reduzir o peso do veículo como um todo. The newly refurbished and upgraded laboratory is located at Chemtura’s European manufacturing plant in Latina, Italy, where it produces Adiprene®, Vibrathane® & Ribbon Flow® TDI and MDI prepolymers, Adiprene® Low Free TDI prepolymers and Vibracure® curatives.

CHEMTURA TO INCREASE WESTON®, MARK®, AND NAUGARD® PHOSPHITE PRICES
Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CEM) will increase the price of Weston®, Mark®, and Naugard® phosphite antioxidants and stabilizers by $0.40-$0.60/kg, effective for all deliveries on or after June 10, 2008, or as contracts allow. The price increase is necessary to recover the unprecedented increases in the costs of phosphorus-based chemicals.
