AKULON FUEL LOCK FROM DSM ENGINEERING PLASTICS PROMOTES CLEANER AIR BY MINIMIZING EVAPORATIVE EMISSIONS FROM FUEL TANKS
DSM Engineering Plastics has launched a unique new material that can make a significant contribution to air quality. Akulon® Fuel Lock, a mono-polyamide 6 technology, dramatically reduces evaporative emissions from the fuel tanks of non-road outdoor equipment and vehicles with small, spark-ignition engines. In fact, tests of a tank with a nominal 2 mm wall thickness molded from Akulon Fuel Lock showed an exceptionally low evaporative emission rate less than 20 percent of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulation limit.

Clariant’s EasyWhite Tan to set new industry standard
Muttenz, December 15, 2010 - For those in the leather industry, certain words are instantly associated with tanning — just think of mimosa, quebracho or chrome — and now the industry will have another: Granofin®, specifically Granofin Easy F-90. It is the key to the chemistry behind the launch of Clariant’s new EasyWhite Tan, which will itself justify its place alongside Wet Blue and Wet White among tanners.

Trespa beloont unieke erkenning door het wereldwijde dealernetwerk
Als grootste producent van innovatieve en inspirerende geveloplossingen organiseerde Trespa International B.V. een internationale wedstrijd voor het wereldwijde distributiekanaal ter ere van haar 50-jarig jubileum. Dealers en distributeurs werden uitgenodigd om de slogan “Als ik aan Trespa denk, dan denk ik aan…..” af te maken. Vervolgens kregen ze speciaal ontworpen “Think Trespa” T-shirts en werden ze uitgenodigd foto's te maken van medewerkers bij hun favoriete Trespa Meteon- toepassing(en) die de vrijwel onbeperkte ontwerpmogelijkheden van het materiaal onder het voetlicht brengen.
