DSM inaugurates new resins plant in Germany
Royal DSM N.V., the global Life Sciences and Materials Sciences company headquartered in the Netherlands announces that today a new plant for the production of wet polyesters and other specialty resins in Meppen (Germany) has been opened. Total investment costs amounted to EUR 15 million.

Songwon Group improves positive results in Q3 following two previous strong quarters in 2009

• Songwon’s Q3 2009 results continued on a positive trend, although the market is yet to show signs of a full recovery and the overall economical situation remains uncertain. Songwon Group achieves a net profit of 8.9 Billion KRW for Q3 2009 and of 22.4 Billion KRW for the first 9 months of 2009.

INDIAN RAILWAYS SELECTS MOOG FATIGUE TEST SYSTEM TO BOOST FREIGHT CAPACITY
AMSTERDAM, January 20, 2010 – Moog Industrial Group, a division of Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B), announced today that the Research Designs & Standards Organization (RDSO) division of the Indian Railways has placed a USD 4 million order for a test rig to perform fatigue testing on freight wagons. MOOG AND THOMPSON FRICTION WELDING DEVELOP WORLD’S LARGEST LINEAR FRICTION WELDING MACHINE
AMSTERDAM, January 18, 2010 – Moog and Thompson Friction Welding have developed the world’s largest linear friction welding machine. It is capable of welding a surface area of 10,000 sq. mm2, nearly twice as much as previously achieved, and breaks the record of weld forge load at 100 tonnes.
