Lyon, France – 24 September 2009 – Magneti Marelli has chosen Rhodia’s Technyl® to produce the air intake manifold (AIM) and the fuel rail of the Citroën C4 and the C5 2l biofuel engines in Brazil. This choice is extended to Peugeot 407, 307 and 308 series.

DSM contributes to world record for most efficient solar module
Royal DSM N.V., the global Life Sciences and Materials Sciences company headquartered in the Netherlands, announces today that its KhepriCoat™ anti-reflective coating system has contributed to achieving the highest energy conversion ever of a full-size solar module. The world record of 16.4%, achieved by the Energy Research Centre of the Netherlands (ECN), was verified by global certification and testing organization TÜV. The previous record of 15.5% from 1998 was broken with an impressive 0.9% efficiency improvement, of which a significant part can be attributed to DSM’s coating.

MKB netwerk vaak onvoldoende beveiligd door ontbreken van een goede IT-beveiligingsstrategie
18 september 2009 – Veel bedrijven in het MKB hebben moeite met het implementeren van een effectieve IT-beveiligingsstrategie. Dat zegt IP-beveiliging en Unified Threat Management (UTM) specialist Clavister. Oorzaken zijn onder andere beperkte budgetten en het ontbreken van gespecialiseerde en geschoolde IT-medewerkers. Het MKB loopt daardoor een groter risico op kwaadaardige aanvallen op hun netwerk en daardoor ook op hun bedrijfsvoering. Clavister heeft daarom een ‘whitepaper’ gepubliceerd over het invoeren van een effectieve IT-beveiliging voor het MKB. Deze kan worden gedownload van www.clavister.com.

Clariant opens strategic production facility in Zhenjiang, China
