The website is available in English. In addition to standard material information such as product specifications, basic application information and downloadable documentation, the new site also features specially commissioned video elements that increase the site's appeal and usefulness for the design community.

EPA Honors Clariant’s Exolit® OP 560 flame-retardant’s pollution prevention potential
CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 10, 2009 - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded Clariant its New Chemicals Program P2 Recognition Project Award for the company’s Exolit® OP 560, a new-generation non-halogenated flame-retardant. The product, is made by Clariant’s Pigments & Additives Division for polyurethane foams in automotive, furniture and consumer applications.

SABIC Innovative Plastics wint de Responsible Care Award voor de ontwikkeling van Valox* en Xenoy iQ* kunststoffen
BERGEN OP ZOOM – 5 juni 2009 – De Vereniging van de Nederlandse Chemische Industrie (VNCI), heeft SABIC Innovative Plastics bekroond met de Responsible Care Award 2009, tijdens de VNCI jaarvergadering gisteren in Den Haag. Met deze prijs ontvangt het bedrijf erkenning voor het ontwikkelen van een productportfolio op basis van polybutyleen tereftalaat (PBT) waarin polyethyleen tereftalaat (PET) – onder andere te vinden in wegwerp drinkflesjes - wordt hergebruikt. Het materiaal wordt gemaakt door middel van een gepatenteerd productieproces . Hierdoor wordt minder energie verbruikt en is er een lagere uitstoot van koolstofdioxide (CO2) gedurende het gehele productieproces in vergelijking met de productie van bestaande kunststoffen.
