Clariant to launch strategic production facilities in Zhenjiang, China
Hong Kong, 10 March, 2009 Leading specialty chemical company Clariant is building a surfactants plant in Zhenjiang, Eastern China to help meet the needs of the country’s growing demand. The new facility is scheduled for production in the middle of 2009.

Koninklijke DSM N.V. maakt bekend dat vandaag in Waalwijk een nieuwe fabriek voor acrylharsen op waterbasis is geopend. In totaal is EUR 30 miljoen in de fabriek geïnvesteerd.

Clavister SG3210 als beste getest in Network Computing’s UTM appliance vergelijking
9 maart 2009 - IP-beveiling en Unified Threat Management (UTM) specialist Clavister eindigde ruim vooraan in een vergelijkende test van UTM appliances voor kleine en middelgrote bedrijven van zes vooraanstaande producenten. De test is uitgevoerd door Real-World Labs voor het Duitse IT-blad “Network Computing”. De test vergeleek de throughput met webfilters en antivirus ingeschakeld. Clavister’s SG3210 presteerde drie keer beter dan de nummer twee, en zelfs tien keer beter dan het gemiddelde van de testgroep.

Almost 50% of Tech Executives Expect to Increase Revenues in 2009 Despite Global Downturn
Despite the global downturn almost half (46%) of senior executives in international technology companies expect to increase revenues in 2009 according to the latest Annual IT Confidence survey conducted by Eurocom Worldwide, the Global PR Network in association with its 30 individual member agencies around the world. However, the number forecasting increased revenues has fallen from 88% last year.
