PROTECTIVE INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS INTRODUCES CUT- RESISTANT GLOVES WITH DYNEEMA® SPUN YARN
URMOND (NL), 12 October, 2007 - Protective Industrial Products, Inc. (PIP), a leading manufacturer of gloves for hand protection, has introduced its second generation of cut-resistant gloves using new spun yarns from DSM Dyneema. The new gloves made with Dyneema® spun yarns are available from PIP with or without coatings. The gloves can be laundered repeatedly, even with bleach, to extend their wearable useful lives.

URMOND (NL), 12 oktober 2007 - Vol trots introduceert Superior Glove zijn nieuwe handschoen met Dyneema®, met uitzonderlijke snijbestendigheid en slijtvastheid. De naadloze SureKnit™ handschoenen van Superior zijn een prachtig voorbeeld van de ontwikkelingen binnen de vezeltechnologie. Een handschoen die zo comfortabel draagt en zo veel bescherming biedt, was een paar jaar geleden nog ondenkbaar. URMOND (NL), 9 October 2007 - DSM Dyneema, inventor and maker of ultra-strong, lightweight Dyneema® polyethylene fiber, and TenCate Advanced Armour, manufacturer of insert plates, have combined their expertise to develop best-in-class fiber-only (monolithic) inserts to be used in hard ballistic body armor. These inserts, which feature proprietary technology from TenCate and Dyneema® HB50 UniDirectional (UD) technology from DSM Dyneema, result in the lower weight of the total body armor, which allows the possibility of adding additional protection to other body areas.
