Owens Corning Acquires Key Composite Solutions Operation in Japan
TOLEDO, Ohio – December 8, 2005 – Owens Corning announced today that it has reached an agreement with Asahi Glass Co., Ltd. to acquire its composites business, including a glass manufacturing facility located near Tokyo. Terms were not disclosed.

Borealis head office moves to Vienna
Borealis recently announced a change in ownership to 65% by the International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) of Abu Dhabi and 35% by OMV Aktiengesellschaft, Austria’s oil and gas company. This change has resulted in a decision to move Borealis’ head office from Copenhagen (Denmark) to Vienna (Austria) by summer 2006.
