Dureal™ and Exelby Services’ agreement provides for five AdBlue filling stations serving northern England
Rotterdam, July 1, 2005 - Dureal™ a division of Univar N.V., one of the world’s largest chemical distributors, and Exelby Services Ltd, UK, have signed an agreement for the installation of Dureal AdBlue service units at five Exelby petrol stations in the north of England. These selected service stations are strategically located at Carlisle, junction 42 on the M6, at Londonderry, North Yorskhire, on the A1/M1, at Teesside on the A19 (north and south bound), and at Castleford, junction 31 on the M62.

Dureal™ en G&V openen eerste AdBlue station aan de E19
Rotterdam/Kuurne, 1 juli 2005 - Dureal™, een divisie van Univar NV, een van ‘s werelds grootste distributeurs van chemische grondstoffen, en brandstofleverancier G&V uit Kuurne (West-Vlaanderen) hebben vandaag in transportzone Meer het eerste commerciële AdBlue station in België feestelijk in gebruik genomen. Dat gebeurde door Patrick Lammers, Managing Director Dureal, samen met Rudy Haustraete, Retail Manager G&V Energy Group, in het bijzijn van verschillende hoogwaardigheidbekleders en vertegenwoordigers van de transportsector.

Univar appointed by Dow as a main partner in Europe for the distribution of UCAR Solution Vinyl Resins (SVR)
Rotterdam, 1 July, 2005 - Univar N.V., a world leader in chemical distribution, announced today that it has been appointed by the Epoxy Products & Intermediates (EP&I) business of The Dow Chemical Company as their primary distributor for UCAR™ Solution Vinyl Resins (SVR) in Italy, France, Benelux, the Nordic region, Ireland and the UK.

Change in Borealis ownership structure underpins future growth
The International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) of Abu Dhabi and OMV Aktiengesellschaft of Austria have announced today their agreement to purchase Statoil’s 50% shareholding in Borealis A/S. As a result, the new Borealis ownership will be 65% IPIC and 35% OMV. Statoil will continue as a major long-term feedstock supplier to Borealis. Dr. Gerhard Roiss, Deputy CEO of OMV, will be the Chairman of Borealis A/S. Closing of the transaction is expected during the fourth quarter once regulatory approvals are received.

Overkapping roltrappen Amsterdam ArenA houden wind, hitte en hagel tegen dankzij infrarood-warmtewerend Lexan* plaatmateriaal van GE Advanced Materials
AMSTERDAM — 30 juni 2005 — Bezoekers van de Amsterdam ArenA worden sinds kort bij binnenkomst en vertrek beschermd tegen de weer elementen door Lexan Solar Control IR polycarbonaat plaatmateriaal. De vier roltrappen zijn voorzien van overkappingen uit dit gloednieuwe materiaal van GE Advanced Materials Specialty Film & Sheet om, in combinatie met natuurlijke ventilatie, te voorkomen dat de temperatuur binnen te hoog oploopt. Lexan Solar Control IR plaatmateriaal absorbeert infrarode en nabij-infrarode straling van de zon waardoor de warmteopbouw kan worden gereduceerd met 40%. Daarnaast wordt tot 60% meer zichtbaar licht doorgelaten ten opzichte van ander IR-absorberend plaatmateriaal. De ArenA in Amsterdam is een van de eerste commerciële toepassingen voor het nieuwe infrarood-warmtewerend Lexan plaatmateriaal.
