Guardian Glass approva la spesa in progettazione ingegneristica per un aggiuntivo stabilimento di vetro float in Polonia
Bertrange, Lussemburgo, 14 marzo 2017 – Guardian Glass destina 1,5 milioni di dollari per le progettazioni ingegneristiche dettagliate e sopralluoghi per un potenziale secondo stabilimento di vetro float in Polonia. Attualmente, Guardian Glass gestisce un impianto per la produzione di vetro float a Czestochowa, Polonia e sta valutando di aggiungere capacità produttiva con un secondo impianto al fine di soddisfare la crescente domanda, da parte dei propri clienti, di prodotti in vetro rivestiti e trasformati, nei settori commerciali e residenziali. Lo scopo di questa spesa iniziale in lavori di progettazione ingegneristica è quello di accelerare il completamento di un nuovo stabilimento che potrebbe rendersi commercialmente disponibile nel primo trimestre del 2019. Inoltre, la scelta di ubicazione è ancora in corso di valutazione.

Perstorp sells its Belgian site with its coating additives activities to Synthomer plc
Perstorp March 6, 2017 - The specialty chemicals innovator and supplier Perstorp (Perstorp Holding AB) today announces the sale of its additives activities primarily serving the paints and coatings industry produced at its facility at Gent Belgium, Perstorp Belgium (Perstorp Oxo Belgium AB) to Synthomer (Synthomer plc). The total consideration for the sale is €78 million (subject to certain adjustments). The divestment is in line with Perstorp’s strategy to focus on and expand its core chemicals activities.
