Ridotti i tempi di commercializzazione grazie allo Strain Hardening, metodo di prova di alta precisione messo a punto da SABIC
Sittard, Olanda – 7 maggio 2012 – SABIC ha messo a punto un nuovo metodo per la valutazione in tempi molto ridotti della resistenza alla propagazione lenta della frattura nel polietilene ad alta densità (HDPE) utilizzato per le tubazioni a pressione. Il metodo consentirà ai trasformatori di beneficiare più rapidamente di nuovi sviluppi nel campo dell’HDPE per tubazioni, riducendo in maniera significativa il tempo impiegato per portare un nuovo materiale dal laboratorio al mercato.

Vinhedo, Maio 2012 – A fim de ampliar seu portifólio de produtos sustentáveis, a Avery Dennison do Brasil (NYSE:AVY) está apresentando ao mercado o novo material Fasson® Cane Fibre Paper. Produzido a partir do bagaço da cana-de-açúcar, o novo material é composto por 95% dessa fibra e 5% de cânhamo e linter de algodão. “Trata-se de uma solução verde, limpa, inteligente, com ótima relação custo-benefício e que atende às necessidades da indústria de rótulos autoadesivos”, explica Ronaldo Mello, Vice Presidente e Gerente Geral da Avery Dennison América do Sul Divisão de Materiais para Rótulos e Embalagem.

Framework agreement announced between China Lumena New Materials Corporation and DSM Engineering Plastics
China Lumena New Materials Corporation and DSM Engineering Plastics signed a framework agreement last March 29, 2012 in Chengdu, China. The two companies agreed to further explore a potential cooperation in the marketing and sales of Stanyl® polyamide 46 in China and Haton® PPS outside of China. Furthermore, the companies will investigate the potential for a joint development in respect of PPS/PA46 alloys as well as other areas of cooperation.
