BERGEN OP ZOOM, Paesi Bassi – 12 gennaio 2012 – L'unità Innovative Plastics di SABIC ha annunciato oggi che i suoi impianti produttivi di Campinas, in Brasile, e di Tortuguitas, in Argentina, hanno ottenuto la certificazione necessaria per poter produrre resine biocompatibili e conformi alle direttive della U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) per il crescente mercato medicale dell'America del Sud e sono quindi in grado di contribuire ad abbattere i tempi di consegna, ridurre i costi di inventario ed accrescere la flessibilità nell'acquisto dei materiali. Ci si aspetta che i mercati medicali di otto paesi dell'America del Sud - Brasile, Messico, Argentina, Cile, Venezuela, Perù, Colombia e Cuba - mostrino un tasso di crescita annuo composto (CAGR) pari al 4,6 percento tra il 2008 e il 2013, raggiungendo i 9,2 miliardi di dollari USA, secondo le notizie dell’agenzia Espicom Health Intelligence sul settore medicale. CLOSURE OF FLAACH TAPE DEVELOPMENT & MANUFACTURING FACILITY
The Netherlands, December 21, 2011 - DSM Dyneema has announced its decision to close its facility in Flaach, Switzerland. The site was acquired in 2007 as part of the acquisition of Pamako A.G., and currently develops and produces Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMwPE) tape. Approx. 25 people are affected by this decision.
