Clariant completes first OBA run in Spain
Muttenz, October 5, 2011 - Clariant announces the successful completion of its first production runs of Optical Brightening Agents (OBAs) at its facility in Prat, near Barcelona, Spain. The site produces dyes, pigment preparations and chemicals for the European and global paper market.

DSM DYNEEMA COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF IP RIGHTS FROM HOFFMANN AIR CARGO EQUIPMENT
The Netherlands, September 29, 2011 - DSM Dyneema has completed the outright purchase of IP rights related to the manufacture of light weight air cargo pallet nets made with Dyneema®, the world’s strongest fiber™ , from Hoffman ACE (based in Friedberg, Germany). The IP rights were previously jointly owned by DSM Dyneema and Hoffmann.

Milliken nucleating agent helps SEM Plastik win clear cup contract for milkshakes
Ghent, Belgium – Leading Turkish sheet extrusion and thermoforming company, SEM Plastik, is using a newly formulated polypropylene to fullfil an important contract for high-clarity, high-stiffness polypropylene cups for milkshakes at a global fast-food company in the country. The improved properties of the material are largely due to the incorporation of Hyperform nucleating agent HPN-600ei into the material. Hyperform Nucleating agent HPN-600ei is a high performance nucleating agent manufactured by additives specialist Milliken & Company.

La resina Lexan, un materiale resistente e biocompatibile caratterizzato da una finitura superficiale eccezionale, è utilizzata per il carter superiore della serie S9™ e il coperchio apribile dell'umidificatore H5i™.
