Guaranteeing a reliable power supply over four decades
Since 1971, well over a hundred million of Hirschmann™’s ST-series connectors have been produced. Still retaining practically the same original design, these connectors are used to provide power for electric awnings, blinds and shutters. The maximum rated voltage is AC 400 V/DC 250 V, with a rated current of up to AC 16 A/DC 10 A. Because the connectors are reliable, easy to install and have a long operational life they have become the standard for a wide range of applications including mechanical engineering, lighting technology and the medical sectors. This is why the ST-series remains an important part of the connector program and will continue to be further developed if necessary.

Facilities in Europe seeking a faster, greener and less invasive way to coat their concrete floors have some attractive new solutions available, thanks to DSM’s recent expansion of UVolve® Instant Floor Coatings products for the region. The line includes high gloss and matte finishes as well as clear and pigmented coatings—all of which can be successfully applied under a wider range of application conditions than has been previously possible with most UV curable floor coating products.

BERGEN OP ZOOM, Paesi Bassi – 23 agosto 2011 – La resina Xenoy iQ* prodotta dall'unità operativa strategica Innovative Plastic di SABIC è stata selezionata da Ford per l'impianto di sicurezza dei pedoni del veicolo multiuso (MPV) C-MAX 2011 e ha aiutato la casa automobilistica a ottenere la classificazione a cinque stelle dall'organizzazione indipendente per la sicurezza Euro NCAP (European New Car Assessment Program). L'impianto di sicurezza dei pedoni della C-MAX è caratterizzato da un'innovativa progettazione del fondo scocca/sistema di protezione gambe che utilizza la resina Xenoy iQ di SABIC. Le proprietà fisiche intrinseche della resina Xenoy iQ la rendono estremamente adatta per l'impianto di sicurezza dei pedoni della Ford C-MAX.
