Clariant’s Genapol® wetting agent provides all-round performance boost in emulsion paints
Muttenz, September 27, 2010 - The paint industry is on the constant look-out for sustainable solutions that improve performance and increase customer choice. Such a solution is available with Genapol® ED3060, a wetting agent for emulsion paints from Clariant that has outstanding wetting and low foaming properties at very low addition levels. It improves the compatibility of binders with numerous organic pigments that are difficult to disperse in the paint, making it easier to formulate a wide range of paint colours.

BERGEN OP ZOOM, Paesi Bassi – 23 settembre 2010 — SABIC Innovative Plastics taglia oggi il nastro inaugurale del proprio nuovo stabilimento per la produzione di resina in polieterimmide (PEI) Ultem* qui a Cartagena, aprendo un nuovo capitolo nella storia di uno dei suoi materiali più affermati. Questo evento attesissimo dai clienti europei e mondiali segna un aumento del 35% della produzione della resina Ultem. Il modernissimo stabilimento da 300 milioni di Euro, che e’ il secondo stabilimento per la resina Ultem di SABIC Innovative Plastics, assicurerà ai clienti un approvvigionamento più affidabile. L'impianto include anche una capacità produttiva scalabile per i gradi ad altissime prestazioni della resina Extem* e i prodotti intermedi speciali (anidridi). Una chimica di processo brevettata e tecnologie produttive all'avanguardia miglioreranno l'affidabilità operativa e la flessibilità, riducendo al minimo l'impatto ambientale dei sottoprodotti. Questo importante investimento dimostra l'instancabile impegno della società a garantire forniture affidabili e scalabili delle resine Ultem ed Extem, le cui straordinarie prestazioni ne comportano una sempre crescente domanda da parte dei clienti di tutto il mondo.

These are among the latest in a large fleet operated by Petroleum Geo-Services (PGS), one of the world’s leading offshore services companies. The Ramform Sovereign and Ramform Sterling each deploy up to 20 seismic streamers.
