SARLINK ANNOUNCES NEW DISTRIBUTION PARTNERSHIP IN MEXICO
Rochester Hills MI, 4 March 2010 – Sarlink TPV has announced that a new distribution partnership between Entec Resins S.A. de C.V. and Sarlink is official since January 1, 2010. Sarlink has found a new business relationship in Entec, which will supply Sarlink’s products to the plastics and rubber industry in Mexico. Entec will be Sarlink’s sole distribution partner for all Sarlink grades from now on. In this way, Sarlink is able to provide better service and the best possible supply solutions for its customers throughout Mexico. This distribution partnership is a significant step to support and drive Sarlink’s position in the growing market of thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPV).

BERGEN OP ZOOM, Paesi Bassi – 2 marzo 2010 – I tifosi di rugby e calcio che frequenteranno il nuovo stadio Aviva di Dublino potrebbero essere più interessati alla struttura dello stadio che non al punteggio. Le pareti trasparenti e curvilinee dello stadio sono costruite con lastre resistenti e praticamente indistruttibili Lexan* Exell D in policarbonato (PC) di SABIC Innovative Plastics. Incredibile eleganza e alte prestazioni caratterizzano queste lastre, che garantiscono inoltre vantaggi ambientali. In riconoscimento al contributo strategico apportato dalle lastre Lexan allo stadio, l’associazione europea che riunisce gli estrusori di lastre in policarbonato, l’EPSE, ha conferito a SABIC Innovative Plastics il premio 2009 per il miglior progetto e innovazione. Questa è la seconda volta che SABIC Innovative Plastics ottiene un premio EPSE. Nel 2008, la società ha vinto la categoria migliore innovazione per la stazione della metropolitana di Carmes a Tolosa, in Francia. Anche in questo caso il tetto è stato costruito con lastre Lexan Exell D. COPERATION BETWEEN BOZZIO, DSM, BERN UNIVERSITY AND DYNAMIC TEST CENTER BRINGS SAFER MOBILITY FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITY
The joysteer® X-by-wire system with precision gears made of Stanyl® PA 46 resin from DSM Engineering Plastics is now in commercial production for the handicapped market and available from car modification companies in Switzerland, Germany and the Benelux. This rapid development from prototype to successful commercialisation was achieved by the Swiss company Bozzio within record time of just three years. In this period, Bozzio obtained the strictest level of safety approvals for the European market (TÜV approval according to ECE-R 13H braking system and ECE-R 79 steering system), making joysteer®x-by-wire commercially available to provide people with a disability a user-friendly solution to drive a car with safety and confidence. This is the first system with such a high safety level.

These new Gigabit Ethernet switches, characterized amongst others by fanless (passive) cooling, can be used for connecting workgroups to the backbone in production environments using twisted-pair cables as well as optical fibers. Each of the three versions, designated MACH104-20TX-F, MACH104-20TX-FR and MACH104 TX-F-4PoE, provides 20 RJ45 ports (10/100/1000 BASE-TX) as well as four combination ports (100/1000 BASE-FX) for SFP fiber optic transceivers.
